Caring Safely®

Continuing Education Credits

Trauma-Informed courses and programs with continuing education credits.

Caring Safely® offers professional development activities with continuing education credits (CECs) via webinars, workshops and training programs for social workers, therapists, behavioral health consultants, counselors, nurses, massage therapists, teachers and others.

The number of CECs available is dependent on the length and content of the training and will be listed on the registration page. Caring Safely offers CEC options for synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.

Workshops and training programs are structured, other-directed, evidence-based learning activities. They are provided by an organization that has a privacy officer and grievance policy. CEs are provided for each hour of instructional time, not including the review of administrative details. Attendance is monitored and recorded for live sessions and can be provided to licensing boards or regulatory organizations upon request.

Previous trainings offered through Caring Safely® have been accepted for continuing education hours through various licensing boards and regulatory organizations, including: the National Association of Social Workers, the National Board for Certified Counselors, the Alberta College of Social Workers and the BC Nurses Union.
